Property of terror handler attached in Baramulla: Police

The property was identified to be belonging to the absconder during the investigation

Srinagar, May 2: Police in Baramulla Thursday attached property worth lakhs of rupees belonging to a terror handler based in Pakistan.

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the property including 6 kanal, 10 marla land worth lakhs of rupees belonging to terror handler based in Pakistan Adrees Ahmad Mir, son of Shakar Din Mir of Singtung Gowhallan Uri, Baramulla was attached after obtaining an attachment order passed by the Court of Sub Judge, Uri.

The statement said that action was taken under Section 83 of CRPC and is linked with case FIR No 91/1998 under Section 2/3 of the EIMCO Act of Police Station Uri.

It said that the property was identified to be belonging to the absconder during the investigation and inquiry conducted by the Police.
