Properties of 7 terror handlers attached in Baramulla: Police

Srinagar, May 7: The properties of seven terror handlers were attached in Baramulla on Tuesday.

A statement of the J&K Police issued here said that the properties of seven terror handlers based in Pakistan were attached in Baramulla after obtaining an attachment order passed by the Additional Sessions Court Baramulla.

The properties attached include 13 kanal of land worth lakhs of rupees belonging to terror handlers based in Pakistan Shabir Ahmad Sofi, son of Gul Sofi of Sheikhpora; Ghulam Nabi Alaie, son of Muhammad Sultan of Waripora Payeen; Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin of Warpora Bala; Shariefuddin Chopan, son of Satar Chopan and Gulla Sheikh, son of Ghulam Muhammad, both residents of Reshipora Authoora; Muhammad Rafiq Khan, son of Abdul Ahad of Saloosa; and Abdul Hameed Parray, son of Muhammad Akbar of Frasthar Tilgam.

The action was taken under Section 88 CRPC and is linked with case FIR No 04/2008 under Section 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121 RPC, 7/25 IA Act, 13 UA (P) Act of PS Kreeri.
