Properties of 4 terrorist handlers attached in Handwara
Kupwara, Nov 8: Police on Friday attached properties of four terrorist handlers in Kralgund area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district. These handlers are reported to be operating from Pakistan.
An official said that the property of four terrorist handlers who were declared as proclaimed offenders by Additional Sessions Court Handwara was attached by Police.
"These handlers have exfiltrated to Pakistan in 90s and following years. They are actively involved in reviving and spreading terrorism in Handwara and other areas of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
Meanwhile Police in a statement said, "Police in Handwara after obtaining attachment order passed by Hon'ble Additional Sessions Court Handwara attached properties (9 Kanals,11 Marlas) land worth crores belonging to terror handlers based in Pakistan namely Abdul Majeed Malla son of Mohammad Ahsan Malla resident of Supernaghama, Abdul Rashid Mir son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir resident of Supernaghama, Arshid Ahmad Parry son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Mandigam and Sajad Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rashid Bhat resident of Palpora Kralgund,".
"The action was taken under sections of 88 CrPc (83 central) in respect of said terrorist handlers following their declaration as proclaimed offenders in case FIR No. 73/2011 U/S 2/3 IMCO Act, 121 A RPC of Police station Kralgund.The operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat terrorism," reads the statement further.
