Prominent religious leader of Kargil passes away
Kargil, Nov 28: Prominent religious scholar of Kargil and former Councillor town LAHDC Kargil, Aga Syed Hussain Al Mossavi passed away on Tuesday, after a brief Illness at District Hospital Kargil where he was admitted.
He was 75. On his passing away, various religious, social organisations have expressed their grief. Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, expressed deep condolences on the sad demise of Aga Syed Hussain Moosavi. In his condolence message, CEC said that Aga Syed Hussain Moosavi, a well-known Islamic scholar and Mirwaiz leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service. His contribution to the society cannot be forgotten. Dr. Jaffar, also on behalf of LAHDC, Kargil extended deepest condolences to the family of late Aga Syed Hussain Moosavi, people of Kargil town in particular and people of Kargil in general.
Former CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan also condoled the demise. “With a heavy heart I pay my condolences to the family and people of kargil town on the demise of great religious scholar Agha Syed Hussain Musavi. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah,” Khan said.
Prominent social-political activist from Kargil Sajad Hussain Kargili expressed grief over the passing away of the religious leader.” Deeply saddened by the passing of prominent religious figure and Mirwaiz #Kargil town, Aga Syed Hussain Mossavi. May the departed soul rest in peace in Jannah. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and followers during this difficult time” Kargili said.
