Jammu, Feb 4: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakina Itoo Tuesday reiterated that the real cause behind 17 deaths in Badhaal village of Rajouri would come to the fore following completion of ongoing investigation. She assured that the report spelling out the reason behind deaths would be shared as and when it was received after completion of investigation.

Minister was responding to media queries on the sidelines of an event “Mission Cancer” organised by Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu.

“We have already deliberated on this issue and briefed (media) also. The death of 17 people is very unfortunate and is a tragedy, which has made us all distressed and concerned. But as told earlier also, all the tests on this account clearly pointed out that it was not a bacterial or viral disease (which claimed these lives),” she said.
