President Murmu said that the nationwide celebratory atmosphere surrounding the temple inauguration is hailed as an uninhibited expression of India's eternal soul.

“We all are fortunate to witness the commencement of a new cycle in the resurgence of our nation. The universal values that Prabhu Shri Ram represents, such as courage, compassion and constant focus on duty, will be taken closer to the people through this magnificent temple,” the letter reads

It reads that Ram signifies the best aspects of Indian cultural and spiritual heritage.

"Above all, he represents the good which is in constant battle with evil. His life and principles have influenced many episodes of our history and inspired nation-builders. Mahatma Gandhi Ji derived strength from Ramanama till his last breath," the letter reads.

Quoting Mahatma Gandhi, President Murmu draws attention to the inspirational role of Ramanama in Gandhi's life and principles, emphasising, “The enduring impact of Prabhu Shri Ram's message.”

“Though my reason and heart long ago realised the highest attribute and name of God as Truth, I recognise Truth by the name of Rama. In the darkest hour of my trial, that one name has saved me and is still saving me,” the letter reads quoting Mahatma Gandhi.

The letter also lauds Prabhu Shri Ram’s values of treating everyone with love and dignity, irrespective of their social background.

President Murmu draws parallels between these values and the governance outlook of the country, citing PM Modi’s recent initiatives for the welfare of vulnerable tribal communities under the PM-JANMAN initiative.

“It was heartening to see you invoke Mata Shabari in your address on that occasion as well. Indeed, she would be doubly happy to see Prabhu Shri Ram's temple as well as the welfare of the people,” the letter reads.

Mentioning the release of the first instalment of benefits under the PM-JANMAN initiative, President Murmu appreciated the invocation of Mata Shabari during the announcement.

The letter suggests: “Mata Shabari would find joy in both the inauguration of Prabhu Shri Ram's temple and the welfare initiatives for the people.”

President Murmu expressed a profound hope that Ram's embodiment of goodness would guide the world on the right path, bringing peace and bliss to humanity at large.
