President Murmu meets students from Assam, J&K on National Integration Tour
Rajouri, Sep 12: President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday interacted with students from Assam’s Tinsukia and Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district at Rashtrapati Bhavan as part of the National Integration Tour, encouraging them to promote peace and harmony.
The students were part of the National Integration Tour, a flagship initiative aimed at fostering cultural understanding and national cohesion among young citizens.
Among those who interacted were twenty spirited NCC cadets from Rajouri, whose interaction with the President marked a proud day for the border district.
The cadets’ meeting with the President was described as a celebration of discipline, unity, and youthful patriotism.
Officials said the tour serves as an inspiring platform for students from remote and border areas to witness the country’s rich heritage, democratic institutions, and progress.
President Murmu encouraged the students to become ambassadors of peace and harmony, underlining the importance of shared cultural values in strengthening the nation’s fabric.
