President Murmu inaugurates Amrit Udyan winter annuals edition 2026

New Delhi, Feb 1: President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Winter Annuals Edition 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The garden will be open to the public from February 3 to March 31, 2026, six days a week from 10 am to 6 pm, except Mondays and March 4 due to Holi. Entry to Amrit Udyan will be free, with online booking mandatory through the Rashtrapati Bhavan website. Special viewing days have been earmarked for defence personnel, senior citizens, women, tribal women’s self-help groups, and Divyangjan. Visitors will enter and exit through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, with shuttle services available from Central Secretariat Metro Station. Along with tulips and roses, this year’s highlights include the Babbling Brook water stream and the Banyan Garden with reflexology paths. Facilities such as drinking water, toilets and medical aid will be provided along the visitor route.
