President Murmu extends greetings on Eid-e-Milad

New Delhi, Sep 4: President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday extended greetings to the nation on Eid-e-Milad, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

In her message, the President said: “On the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), celebrated as Milad-un-Nabi, I extend my warm greetings to all fellow citizens, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) gave the message of unity and service to humanity to the people. This festival inspires us to imbibe his teachings and promote peace and harmony in society. On this auspicious occasion, let us take inspiration from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and strive in the spirit of love and brotherhood.”

Eid-e-Milad, is observed across the country to mark the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), with prayers, community gatherings, and calls for peace and harmony.
