President awardee Prof Beena Budki visits Chotay Taray Foundation

Srinagar, Oct 29: President awardee Prof Beena Budki, a distinguished literary figure and noted social activist from J&K, visited Chotay Taray Foundation, Srinagar.

A statement of the Chotay Taray Foundation issued here said that during her visit, Budki interacted warmly with children with disabilities and the dedicated staff, sharing her enriching life experiences and words of encouragement.

It said that Prof Budki expressed deep appreciation for the foundation’s compassionate efforts and praised its impactful work in empowering special children through education, therapy, and skill development.

The statement said that with a legacy of over 25 years of dedicated service, Chotay Taray Foundation continues to stand as a beacon of hope for children with disabilities in Jammu and Kashmir.

It said that the foundation appeals to the community for continued support to sustain and expand its mission of nurturing and empowering these “little stars.”
