President accepts Odisha Governor’s resignation
New Delhi, Dec 24: The President of India has accepted the resignation of Raghubar Das as the Governor of Odisha, leading to a series of new gubernatorial appointments across various states.
Hari Babu Kambhampati, previously the Governor of Mizoram, has been appointed as the new Governor of Odisha.
General Vijay Kumar Singh, a retired military officer, will now take over as the Governor of Mizoram. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, formerly the Governor of Bihar, will assume the role in Kerala, while Arif Muhammad Khan, who was serving in Kerala, has been transferred to Bihar.
Additionally, Ajay Kumar Bhalla has been appointed as the Governor of Manipur.
These appointments will be effective from the dates the individuals assume their respective offices.
