Prepare for coming ULBs, Panchayat elections : Dr Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Nov 13: National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah today directed his party cadres to prepare for coming Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and panchayat election.

He also emphasised the importance of selecting educated youth candidates to guarantee effective governance and representation.

While stressing the significance of maintaining discipline within the party, Dr Farooq Abdullah issued a stern warning that any individuals found violating party principles would be subject to strict action.

According to a press release, NC President was addressing several delegations including from his party here. The delegations called on him at NC office.

They brought to light various challenges and difficulties faced by the people in their respective areas.

Dr Farooq Abdullah assured the delegations that all issues would be brought to the attention of the relevant authorities. He also directed the party MLAs to address these matters promptly to ensure timely resolutions.
