PPS Bemina organises Iftaar for families of Policemen who died in line of duty
Srinagar, Mar 30: In memory of the Policemen who died in the line of duty, Police Public School (PPS) Bemina organised an Iftaar party for their families at the school on Saturday.
A statement of J&K Police issued here said that in the holy month of Ramadan, PPS Bemina organised an Iftaar party at the school which was attended by DIG CID Sujit Kumar Singh, DIG Central Kashmir Range Rajiv Pandey, SSP Srinagar Ashish Mishra, Comdt 13 Bn Aslam Khan, SP West Imtiyaz Ahmed, Deputy Co 73rd Bn CRPF P K Tripathi and other officers beside the students of the school who are wards Policemen who died in the line of duty and their families.
All the teaching and non-teaching staff also attended the event. DIG CID donated 500 books to the library of the school and DIG Central Kashmir Range donated four Samsung tablets under the civic action programme to the principal of the school Snigdha Singh on this occasion.
