Power shutdown

Srinagar, Sep 20: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to facilitate execution of the work, twining of conductor from 100 sq mm to 2x100 sq mm over 33 KV Handwara old line and branch cutting of trees along Machil tap line, shutdown of 33KV Handwara old line would be observed due to which 33/11KV receiving stations at Zachaldara, Adoora, Changimulla would remain off while power supply to Zachaldara, Wadipora, Wadder, Changmulla, Adoora, Hanga, Haril, Lach, and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 am to 3 pm on September 24 and 27, 2025.

Also in this connection, shutdown of 33 KV Machil tap line would be observed due to which 33/11KV receiving station at Machil would remain off while power supply to Machil, Chountipora, Dapal, Ring Bala, and adjoining areas would be affected from 10 am to 3 pm on September 25 and 27, 2025.

Moreover, to facilitate the LILO work of the receiving station GMC Baramulla, shutdown of 33 KV Baramulla 1st line would be observed, due to which 33/11KV receiving stations at Baramulla-I, Kanlibagh, GMC Baramulla would remain off while power supply to Short Delina, DIC, New DIC, Old Army, Main Bazar, Ushkara, PHE, Sangri, Microwave, Kanlibagh, GMC, and adjoining areas would be affected from 10 am to 1 pm on September 21, 2025.

Similarly, to carry out the works of rising height of double circuit 33 KV Pampore-BK Pora, 33 KV Pampore Chadoora line at Pahroo Bypass Chowk and Lasjan Bypass, shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-BK Pora line would be observed due to which 33/11KV receiving stations at B K Pora, Khanda and Summerbugh would remain off while power supply to B K Pora, Khanda, Checkpora, Chattergam, Kenihama, Summerbugh, Wagoora, Aribagh, Chackpora, and adjoining areas would be affected from 9 am to 12 noon on September 21, 2025.

Likewise, to carry out the work of fixing channels of the 33 KV Arizal Tap line, shutdown of the 33 KV Ahmadpora Arizal Tap line would be observed, due to which the 33/11KV receiving station at Arizal would remain off while power supply to Arizal, Zanigam, Raiyar, Doodhpathri, and adjoining areas would be affected from 10 am to 4 pm on September 23 and 25, 2025.

Further to carry out upgradation and stabilisation of 33 KV Alasteng Nagbal line, shutdown of 33 KV Alasteng Nagbal line would be observed due to which 33/11KV receiving stations at Alasteng, Nagbal, Gadoora, and Tulbagh would remain off while power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri, and adjoining areas would be affected from 9 am to 3 pm on September 24 and 27, 2025.

Besides, in this connection, shutdown of 33 KV Alasteng Zakura line would be observed due to which 33/11KV receiving stations at Gulabagh, Ahmadnagar, and Umarhair would remain off while power supply to Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulab Bagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90ft Road, Khalmulla, and adjoining areas would be affected from 9 am to 3 pm on September 24 and 27, 2025.
