Power cuts, fiscal deficit Govt’s failures: GM Shaheen

Srinagar, Dec 8 The President of Janata Dal United in J&K, GM Shaheen has said that Kashmir is reeling under a major power crisis amid harsh winter conditions, accusing the government “of having utterly failed to ensure even the most basic civic necessity—electricity”.

He stated that people are being forced to survive in darkness.

He further alleged that the state treasury has been exhausted, not due to public welfare, “but because of the reckless diversion of funds.”
