Srinagar, Oct 22: Ganderbal police on Tuesday said that the post claiming that non-locals are being asked to leave in Kashmir are "baseless."

Earlier today, the former J&K Chief Minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti claimed that the authorities in Kashmir are pressurising non-locals to leave the valley immediately. This, Mehbooba said was in the backdrop of a deadly attack that killed seven in Kashmir's Ganderbal.

While she understands their obvious sense of panic but asking them to leave in this manner is not a solution, Mufti wrote on her official X-handle

However, the Ganderbal police dismissed these claims, terming them as baseles.
