Poor cellular, internet services irk villagers of Kupwara’s Tulwari area
Kupwara, Dec 21: The residents of Tulwari Langate in north Kashmir's Kupwara district Thursday accused private telecom operator Jio of poor voice calls and mobile internet services due to which people were facing immense hardships.
The residents said that both postpaid and prepaid users experience poor voice and internet connectivity.
Subscribers of this private telecommunication company told Greater Kashmir that they were facing immense problems due to erratic calling and internet services for the last seven months in their area. Students of the area said that they were really suffering in the absence of the internet which is affecting their preparation for different competitive exams.
"The student community of our area is the worst hit because they are unable to take online classes due to poor internet connection," said a local of Tulwari.
"We have approached the district administration and officials of cellular company Jio but every time we were returned back with false promises," said another local.
