Political analyst Javed Shah conferred life-time achievement award
Srinagar, Oct 07: As part of the Union Government's elaborate program to celebrate World Animal Day in the national capital Delhi, eminent political analyst from Kashmir Javed Iqbal Shah was honored with the lifetime achievement award for his unwavering passion and exceptional contribution to animal welfare at the national level by S.P Singh Baghel, Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying in a prestigious function at the India International Centre.
The function was presided over by the Union Minister with prominent Jain monk, Acharya Lokesh Muni as chief guest and organized by well known socialite Barkha Pincha, Founder & Chairperson Mercie Animal Welfare Foundation to honor national level individuals & animal welfare activists who have dedicated themselves to the cause of animal care, compassion and alleviation of animal suffering.
The minister lauded Javed Iqbal Shah for his fearless contribution to alleviation of animal cruelty and his pioneering role to institutionalize the concept of animal birth control in J&K. On this occasion the minister felicitated other acclaimed national level figures who have earned recognition for their lifetime dedication to the welfare and humane outreach endeavors in service of the speechless including Anjali Gopalan, Geeta Seshamani and Ambika Shukla.
