Policeman shoots himself dead at Rajbagh

Srinagar: A policeman posted at Rajbagh area here ended his life by shooting himself on Sunday evening, police said.

He has been identified as Abdul Hameed, a resident of Budgam district of central Kashmir.

Police said the cop is from the IRP wing of J&K Police. “We have started an investigation. This is a case of suicide. He shot himself with his own service rifle resulting in his death.”
