Police take cognisance after PDP, AIP workers clash in Shopian

Srinagar, Sep 08: Police on Sunday said that they have taken cognizance after there was a clash between two political parties in Shopian district.

They said that a scuffle reported between PDP and AIP workers in Balpora village of Shopian, resulting in minor injuries.

The police said that both parties have been reported for violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), and a cognizance about the incident has been taken.
