Police SI found dead in R S Pura

Jammu, Feb 07: A Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector, was found dead in RS Pura area of Jammu, on Saturday, officials said.

He was identified as Abid Bashir, resident of Tarathpora, Kupwara, new agency KNC reported.

The deceased was posted at Police Station RS Pura. The exact circumstances leading to his death were not immediately known, and officials said further details are awaited.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated necessary proceedings.
