Police register case after women allege assault by shopkeeper in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 11: Srinagar Police has registered a case after a woman and her mother were allegedly assaulted by Shopkeeper in Nowhata area of central Kashmir Srinagar district on Monday.

An official told NVI that Srinagar police have registered an FIR after a woman and her mother were allegedly assaulted by a shopkeeper in the Nowhatta area this evening

He said that police have registered a case under FIR No. 51/2024, citing relevant sections of the law, and have initiated an investigation.
