Police notifies recruitment of SPOs for 22 Rajouri villages
Rajouri, July 2: Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri has notified advertisement for recruitment of Special Police Officers (SPOs) in respect of 22 villages of the district that have been declared as militancy infected.
A detailed notification has been issued by District Police Office Rajouri in respect of directions from Police Headquarters. In this notification, Jammu and Kashmir police has stated that 22 villages of Rajouri are categorised as militancy affected and eligible candidates of these villages can take part in SPOs recruitment.
The villages include Azmatabad, Bhangai, Shahdra, Dhara Mangota, Lah, Chalal Baghlan, Dhara, Topa Madoon, Dhar Sakri, Deri Kathuni, Saada, Kandra, Gabbar Guler, Bei Nambal, Kenthipada Keri, Chawani Phagoli Bela, Thuni Gala Dori forest in Gunda, Narla Bambel, Bajimal, Kha, Jamola, Jatta Mallalian - Brahmana.
The police from Senior Superintendent of Police office Rajouri has asked the candidates to submit forms before DySP Administration at DPL Rajouri from July 2 to 9 alongwith necessary documents that include education qualification certificate, village certificate from Tehsildar concerned and domicile.
The eligible criteria is minimum age of 18 years and maximum of 28 years on 1st of January this year. The height of applicant has also been mentioned to be not less than five feet, six inches.
Official sources said that the 22 villages mentioned in the list have been considered as 'militancy affected' villages owing to terror related acts and repeated movement of terrorists in the areas.
