Police leads joint exercise on digital arrest
Jammu, Nov 18: Jammu and Kashmir Police, in partnership with Punjab Police, Himachal Pradesh Police, and experts from IIT Jammu, conducted a collaborative exercise on digital arrest to strengthen inter-agency coordination against cybercrime.
According to a press release, the session featured a detailed case study on Punjab Police's Digital Arrest cases, showcasing best practices in using advanced tools and cross-border collaboration to apprehend cybercriminals.
Key discussions focused on leveraging AI/ML for cyber defense, freezing fraudulent transactions swiftly, creating a unified repository for fraud data, and sensitizing judiciary members to emerging cybercrime trends. This exercise reinforces the commitment to building a secure and resilient digital ecosystem through innovation and collaboration.
