Police hold meeting with retired personnel in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, Sep 03: In order to review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired police officers, SSP Ganderbal Wasim Qadri accompanied by DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal, Nazir Ahmad held meeting with Police Retired Officers Association Non-Gazetted (PROANG) at DPL Ganderbal in which various issues pertaining to them were discussed.
Representatives of the Police Retired Officers Association put forth various pending issues pertaining to them.
They were heard patiently by SSP Ganderbal and were assured full cooperation. It was also made clear in the meeting that retirees are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions as they have rendered a long service, sacrificed and toiled hard to earn a name for the organisation. Further, the officer stated that various measures are being taken by the J & K Police department for their welfare.
SSP Ganderbal assured the participants that J&K Police is always at their disposal and asked them not to feel isolated. Further they were assured that they are still part of the Police organisation and they can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.
Finally, the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from both sides.
