Police flag off Bharat Darshan tour for students in Sopore

Sopore,Feb 3: As part of the civic action programme of police, a week long Bharat Darshan Tour-2024 of 21 students along with a police official as (caretaker) of Police district Sopore was flagged off.

An impressive flag-off ceremony was organised at DPL Sopore in which SP Sopore Divya D accompanied by DySP DAR DPL Sopore Dr Hilal Ahmad flagged off the tour.

Speaking on the occasion, SP Sopore advised the students to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places of the country. She advised the touring students to imbibe the greatness of the country, its unity in diversity and to take this opportunity to gain memories for a lifetime. Besides, she also wished them a fun-filled, safe and life changing tour.

During the tour, the students shall visit the cities of New Delhi and Mumbai and for their sight-seeing activities AC coaches are being provided. The group will be assisted by a guide who will be highlighting the significance of the historical spots and their importance to make the trip educational and informative as well.

Parents and touring students applauded the efforts made by J&K Police for such a mesmerising initiative and thanked J&K Police for providing them an opportunity to visit the popular and historical cities of the country.
