Police carry out bhung destruction drive in Budgam

Budgam, Aug 07: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police alongwith Revenue and Excise Department carried out a wild bhung destruction drive in Budgam.

Officers from PP Narbal along with Revenue and Excise department carried out the wild bhung destruction drive at village Kawoosa Khalisa and its adjacent areas especially on the banks of river Sukhnag and destroyed wild bhung spread over vast areas of land.

“Police are committed to eradicate the dreadful menace of drugs and such drives would be continued in future also. General public is requested to come forward with any information related to drugs in their areas. Police assure strict action as per law,” police said.
