Police book 2 notorious drug peddlers in Sopore

Sopore, Feb 22: Sopore Police on Saturday said they have booked two drug peddlers under PIT-NDPS act. They have been taken into custody and are now being held in the District Jail Udhampur and District Jail Kathua.

Police in a statement said the duo drug peddlers were identified as, Firdous Ahmad Dar, son of Nazir Ahmad Dar resident of Mahrajpora Sopore and Firdous Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohiudin Bhat Resident of Mazbugh Sopore

Police statement further reads that many cases have been registered against these drug peddlers and they were still involved in drug peddling by supplying drugs to the local youth of the Police District Sopore. The general public of Sopore has appreciated the role played by the Sopore Police in taking action against drug smugglers.
