Police attach property of drug peddler in Shopian

Srinagar, Feb 14: As a part of ongoing measures to curb narcotics-related activities, Shopian Police have attached a single-story residential house valued at Rs 26,56,008 with a plinth area of 1392 Sq. Ft. under Survey No. 44 min, belonging to Sartaj Ahmad Ganie resident of Memander Shopian.

As per the statement, the property has been found to be acquired using money obtained through the sale of illegal drugs and narcotics. The accused has been previously involved in multiple NDPS cases, including FIR No. 20/2021 & 49/2021 of Police Station Shopian.

The attachment process was executed in the presence of a duly constituted police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar, ensuring full compliance with all legal protocols.

Shopian Police reiterate its commitment to enforcing the law against narcotics-related offences and appeal to the public to report any information regarding drug-related activities, statement reads.
