Police attach properties of 2 terror handlers in Baramulla

Srinagar, May 28: The properties of two terror handlers were attached in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday,

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the 3 kanal and 19 marla land worth lakhs of rupees belonging to two terror handlers based in Pakistan, Jalal Din, son of Raj Muhammad of Zamboor Pattan and Muhammad Saki, son of Mastana Bhatti of Kamalkote Uri, after obtaining attachment order from Sub Judge Uri.

The action was taken under Section 83 of CRPC linked with case FIR No 34/1995 under Sections 7/25 of the Indian Arms Act, 4(III) of the TADA Act, and 105/1996 under Sections 2/3 of the EIMCO Act of Police Station Uri.

During the investigation conducted by Police, the property was identified to be belonging to terror handlers.

The operation reaffirms the commitment of the Police to combat the terror activities, the statement said.
