Police attach 27 kanal land of 9 proclaimed offenders in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Dec 19: The properties of five proclaimed offenders in Ganderbal who have ex-filtrated to Pakistan and PoK for getting training in illegal arms were attached by Police on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, in pursuance to the order of the Court of Additional Mobile Magistrate Ganderbal under Section 82 CrPC followed by Government Order No 12/DM/GBL, Police in Ganderbal attached the immovable properties of five proclaimed offenders who have ex-filtrated to Pakistan and PoK for attaining training of illegal arms.

They were involved in case FIR No 120/2009 under Section 2/3 of E&IMCO of Police Station Ganderbal in the manner specified in Section 83 of CrPC.

The offenders are at large across the Line of Control (LoC) in PoK and across the border in Pakistan.

The attached properties included land measuring 1 kanal 19 marlas under Khasra No 41, 42, 47, and 49 in Estate Choutwaliwar belonging to proclaimed offender Muhammad Yousuf alias Yousuf Naseem, son of Muhammad Yaqboob Syed Shah of Chountwaliwar; land measuring 1 kanal and 17 marlas under Khasra No 883/637/288 in Countwaliwar and 10 marlas under Khasra No 429 in Watlar belonging to proclaimed offender Bashir Ahmad, son of Abdul Karim Wani of Choutwaliwar, Watlar; land measuring 11 marlas under Khasra No 130, 128, 129, and 314 in estate Chountwaliwar belonging to proclaimed offender Muhammad Rafiq, son of Lal Din Chichi of Chountwaliwar; land measuring 2 kanal 15 marlas under Khasra No 710/3, 706/2, and 707/2 in estate Chountwaliwar belonging to proclaimed offender namely Muhammad Sakhi, son of Muhammad Younis Shah Qureshi of Chountwaliwar; and land measuring 121/4 marlas under Khewat No 201 in estate Qasba Lar belonging to proclaimed offender Hilal Ahmad, son of Habibullah Wani of Qasba Lar.
In total 27.13 kanal land belonging to nine proclaimed offenders and a residential house has been attached so far in case FIR No 120/2009 of Police Station Ganderbal.
