PM’s participation in IYD event in Kashmir matter of pride for people of J&K: LG

Srinagar, June 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in the International Yoga Day (IYD) event in Kashmir was a matter of pride for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

“It is a matter of pride for the people of J&K that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be performing Yoga near the iconic Dal Lake in Srinagar, alongside over 7000 people," LG Sinha said announcing that PM Modi would participate in the IYD celebrations in Srinagar on Friday.

The event is jointly organised by the J&K administration and the Ayush Ministry, who have extended invitations to people from several districts to join in the celebrations.

This event aims to promote unity, wellness, and celebration, showcasing J&K’s beauty and potential.
