PM pledges nation first

New Delhi, June 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially assumed his duties at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Monday.

In his address to the PMO staff, he emphasised the continuous effort to transform the PMO into an institution of service, calling it the ‘People’s PMO’.

“We have endeavoured to make the PMO a source of new energy and inspiration,” Modi said.

Highlighting the government’s role, he described it as a source of strength, dedication, and resolve, expressing confidence in the PMO’s commitment to serving the public.

He noted that the government’s success was not his alone but the result of the collective efforts of thousands.

“It is the citizens who witness the magnificence of our combined abilities,” he said.

Modi praised his team for their tireless work and limitless thinking, asserting that the entire nation had faith in them.

He thanked current team members and invited others to join in the journey towards a developed India, aiming for “nation first” with the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.

“Together, we will achieve this target,” he said.

The PM elaborated on his philosophy, explaining that stable desire and determination, complemented by hard work, lead to success.

He encouraged his team to surpass global benchmarks and outperform their past decade’s work.

“We must take the nation to heights no other nation has ever achieved,” Modi said.

He stressed that clarity of thought, conviction, and character are essential for success, believing that these attributes prevent failure.

The PM credited the dedication of government employees for their significant role in the government’s achievements, stating that the recent elections validated their efforts.

He urged his team to innovate and expand their work, revealing that his energy comes from keeping the student within him alive.

In his first official act after being sworn in for a third term, PM Modi signed a file authorising the release of the 17th instalment of the PM Kisan Nidhi, benefiting 9.3 crore farmers with approximately Rs 20,000 crores.

“Our government is fully committed to Kisan Kalyan,” he said, emphasising the ongoing dedication to farmers and the agricultural sector.
