PM Narendra Modi meets former Sri Lankan President, former Prime Minister of Australia

New Delhi, Mar 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with former Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and former Prime Minister of Australia, Mr Tony Abbott at the NXT Conclave in New Delhi on March 1, 2025. The Prime Minister engaged with the foreign leaders in discussions, reflecting on their long-standing diplomatic interactions.

PM Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts, stating:

“At the NXT Conclave, met my friend Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe. I have always looked forward to our interactions and have admired his perspective on various issues.”

IN another separate message on X Prime Minister wrote, “Delighted to meet my good friend and former Australian PM, Mr. Tony Abbott. He has always been a friend of India’s. We have all seen him enjoy millets during his current visit. @HonTonyAbbott”
