Srinagar, Feb 22:  BJP National General Secretary and in-charge Jammu and Kashmir Tarun Chugh today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has opened new vistas for the youth in J&K.

In a statement he said that after the abrogation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir has reached the next level. “Seeing the development here, the National Conference (NC) is particularly restless. NC does not want the people of the Union Territory to prosper and develop.”

He severely criticized NC for “suppressing the youth of Jammu and Kashmir during its time.“When Abdullah dynasty was ruling J&K, they were the first to suppress the youth and implicated them in false cases. Because of this anger arose in them towards mainstream India. The Gupkar gang pushed the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to the margins and forced them to resort to violent methods,” the senior BJP leader said.

Chugh said that today BJP has embraced the youth of J&K and guided them towards a better future and nation building. He stated that Abdullah dynasty always “used Article 370 as a shield to hide their misdeeds, but the BJP abolished this law after August 5, 2019. Jammu and Kashmir is the abode of peace, prosperity and development.”
