New Delhi, Nov 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on 19th November, where he will participate in significant spiritual and agricultural events.

On Wednesday, PM Modi will visit the holy shrine and Mahasamadhi of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi to offer his obeisance.

He will participate in the Centenary Celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. During the event, the PM will release a Commemorative Coin and a set of Stamps dedicated to the life, teachings, and profound legacy of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

Following this, PM Modi will proceed to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit in the afternoon.

As part of the programme, he will release the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN, amounting to over `18,000 crore, benefitting 9 crore farmers across the country.

The PM will also deliver an address at the summit.

SOUTH INDIA NATURAL FARMING SUMMIT

The summit, scheduled from 19th to 21st November 2025, is being organised by the Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum.

Its objective is to promote sustainable, eco-friendly, and chemical-free agricultural practices, and accelerate the transition towards natural and regenerative farming as a climate-smart and economically viable model for India’s agricultural future.

The summit will also emphasise strengthening market linkages for farmer-producer organisations and rural entrepreneurs, while showcasing innovations in organic inputs, agro-processing, eco-friendly packaging, and indigenous technologies.

Over 50,000 participants - including farmers, natural farming practitioners, scientists, organic input suppliers, sellers, and stakeholders - from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh are expected to take part in the programme.
