PM Modi to launch health, development initiatives in Madhya Pradesh
New Delhi, Sep 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on September 17, where he will launch a series of health, nutrition, tribal welfare and industrial development initiatives.
The visit will see the rollout of the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaigns, billed as the country’s largest-ever health outreach for women and children. More than one lakh health camps will be organised nationwide, offering preventive and specialist services, screening for major diseases, immunisation drives, and blood donation camps.
Funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana will also be transferred directly to nearly 10 lakh women beneficiaries.
The Prime Minister will unveil the Suman Sakhi Chatbot for maternal and child health awareness and distribute the one-croreth Sickle Cell Screening and Counselling Card.
He will also launch the ‘Adi Seva Parv’ under the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan, focusing on holistic development in tribal areas.
In addition, Modi will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, a 2150-acre integrated textile hub expected to attract investments worth over Rs 23,000 crore, create nearly three lakh jobs, and boost exports.
As part of women’s empowerment and environmental initiatives, he will gift a sapling under the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ programme, which involves self-help groups in developing community gardens across Madhya Pradesh.
