New Delhi, Sep 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United States from September 21 to 23, 2024, and attend the Quad Leaders’ Summit and the United Nations General Assembly, MEA press release said.

On September 21, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, hosted by U.S. President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. India has agreed to host the next Quad Summit in 2025, following a request from the U.S. to hold this year’s summit. The Quad leaders will review progress made over the past year and set priorities for supporting development across the Indo-Pacific region.

The Prime Minister will then address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23. The summit, themed “Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,” is expected to draw numerous global leaders. On the sidelines, Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral talks with several world leaders to discuss mutual interests.

On September 22, the Prime Minister will address the Indian community in New York. He will also meet with CEOs of prominent U.S.-based companies to strengthen collaboration in areas like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. Additionally, Prime Minister Modi is expected to engage with thought leaders and stakeholders involved in the India-U.S. bilateral relationship.
