PM Modi meets Army Chief
Srinagar, Apr 30: In the latest development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday held a meeting with Army Chief General Upendra Diwedi.
India today reported that Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval also attended that high-level meeting.
India Today reported that the meeting was part of a series of meetings being taken by the Prime Minister with security chiefs after the Pahalgam terror attack last week.
It reported that India had also warned Pakistan against continued ceasefire violations during the Indian and Pakistani Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) meeting held over the hotline on Tuesday.
The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to call both Indian and Pakistani leaders later today. He is expected to speak to the External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and the Pakistani Foreign Minister,î India Today reported.
