PM Modi congratulates new Seychelles’ President

New Delhi, Oct 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Patrick Herminie on his victory in the presidential elections in Seychelles.

In his message, PM Modi highlighted the “shared heritage” of the Indian Ocean that connects the people of India and Seychelles, supporting their common aspirations and needs.

He expressed confidence that the long-standing and multifaceted partnership between the two nations would deepen further under Herminie’s leadership.

Posting on X, the Prime Minister said he was confident that bilateral relations “will gain further momentum” during Herminie’s tenure and extended his best wishes for the term ahead.
