PM Modi congratulates Karki

New Delhi, Sep 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended his greetings to Sushila Karki on her appointment as the head of Nepal’s interim government.

In a message shared on X, Modi conveyed his best wishes to Karki and reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Nepal.

Posting in English, Hindi and Nepali, he wrote that India stood firmly by Nepal during this crucial transition and wished success to the interim government under her leadership. Mrs. Karki, a former chief justice, was sworn in as Nepal’s interim prime minister on Friday at a special ceremony in Kathmandu.
