PM Modi condoles deaths in Mumbai’s Bhandup bus accident

New Delhi, Dec 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condoled the loss of lives in a road accident in Mumbai’s Bhandup area, where a BEST bus knocked down pedestrians. In a post on X, the Prime Minister said he was saddened by the loss of lives due to the mishap and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

According to police, four people, including three women, were killed and nine others wounded when a reversing bus of the civic-run Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking hit pedestrians around 10 pm on Station Road in Bhandup (West). The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
