PM Modi arrives in Kashmir capital Srinagar

Srinagar, March 07: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Srinagar on Thursday, marking his first visit to the Kashmir Valley since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.

PM Modi is scheduled to participate in 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu Kashmir' programme during which he will unveil development projects valued at over Rs 6,400 crore.

Upon landing at the Srinagar airport, the Prime Minister proceeded to Badamibagh Cantonment, where he paid homage to fallen soldiers at the War Memorial.

Following this solemn moment, Modi's motorcade navigated through Gupkar and Zero Bridge en route to Bakshi Stadium, where he will address a huge public meeting.
