PM cites Sanskrit verse to stress wisdom, restraint, timely action

New Delhi, Dec 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday highlighted the importance of strategic wisdom, measured restraint and timely action as the foundations of national strength and long-term security.

Sharing a Sanskrit shloka on X, the Prime Minister said these qualities guide a nation in protecting its interests and ensuring steady progress.

He suggested that the verse reflects the ideal of a wise and resolute nation – one that avoids provocation, acts with prudence, and chooses its moment to act decisively.
