PLI, RPLI excellence awards presented to top performers in J&K

Srinagar, Sep 26: The Department of Posts, Jammu and Kashmir Circle, today honoured outstanding achievers in Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) at a ceremony held in the Winter Hall, SKICC, Boulevard Road, Srinagar.

Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Kashmir, attended as the chief guest, while Tanweer Qamar Mohammad, Chief General Manager of the PLI Directorate, was the guest of honour. T M Sreelatha, CPMG J&K Circle, convened the event.

The awards recognised officials, employees, and branches across the Union Territory for exemplary commitment to customer service, policy growth, and outreach. The ceremony also highlighted the significance of PLI and RPLI schemes in providing affordable and secure insurance coverage, particularly in rural and remote areas.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasised the department’s role in promoting financial inclusion and delivering social security at the grassroots level.

The event concluded with the distribution of awards and certificates of appreciation to the best-performing divisions and staff members, reaffirming the Department’s commitment to excellence and public service.
