Pistol, bullets recovered during CASO in Rajouri

Rajouri, Dec 8: Security forces on Friday recovered a pistol and eight bullets during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at a village of Nowshera sub division in Rajouri district.

Police in a statement said that based on credible inputs, Jammu and Kashmir Police of District Rajouri, troops of 54 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF 72 Battalion launched a Cordon and Search Operation at Patrari, Rajalkote area of Nowshera in the district.

During the ongoing operation, the joint teams recovered a pistol and ammunition so far that include eight bullets, it said. Search in the area is going on, police further said.
