Srinagar, Dec 14: Two-newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police (Dy. SPs), Mir Afaq and Nasir Ahmad, were honoured in a pipping ceremony held at the Range Police Headquarters, in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Nasir Ahmad and Mir Afaq, the newly promoted Dy.SPs, were ceremoniously decorated with their new ranks by Maqsood-ul-Zaman (IPS), Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, North Kashmir Range (NKR), and Gurinderpal Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla.

Speaking at the ceremony, DIG NKR Maqsood-ul-Zaman congratulated the officers on their well-deserved promotions. He emphasized that promotions not only elevate one’s status but also bring greater responsibilities.
