PHDCCI Kashmir welcomes constitution of working group on land-use policy review
Srinagar, Dec 14: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) Kashmir hailed the government for forming a Working Group of Officers tasked with reviewing the policy on Levy Charges for Change of Land Use (CLU) in the region.
In a statement chamber said that for some time, PHDCCI Kashmir has advocated for the revision of the Change of Land Use fees and the Floor Space Index (FSI) applicable in Srinagar city, emphasizing the need for an updated framework that reflects the current economic and developmental needs of the community. Our various representations have aimed to engage the government in constructive dialogue surrounding these critical issues. The establishment of the Working Group is a positive step toward inclusivity and transparency in the decision-making process. We are hopeful that this committee will engage with all stakeholders involved in the development process, ensuring that their voices are heard in finalizing the guidelines for CLU fees.
"We look forward to contributing to this collaborative effort and fostering a regulatory environment that stimulates growth and sustainability in Srinagar."
