The MRI machine was having problems with the MRI Chiller. MRI Chiller is important as it helps to maintain the cold head of MRI machine which in turn maintains the Helium level which is required to cool and check the magnet pressure. All this is important for smooth running of MRI machine. Few days back one of the compressors of MRI chiller and few relay switches got non-functional resulting in stopping the MRI machine, the statement said.
