People should reject traditional parties, vote wisely: Mir

Srinagar, Apr 24: Submitting nomination papers for the Srinagar parliamentary seat as a candidate of Apni Party, its provincial president, Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Mir Wednesday urged people to reject the traditional parties and vote wisely.

Mir submitted his nomination papers as the Apni Party’s candidate for the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat at the office of the Returning Officer in Srinagar.

“I urge people to use their vote wisely and elect Apni Party candidates who are committed to working for the peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the time for people to reject traditional parties and their leaders, who have been deceiving them for years and decades through deceptive political narratives and false promises,” he said. “These parties kept people busy with emotional slogans like ‘raishumari’, ‘autonomy’, ‘self-rule’, and so on. While keeping people busy with emotional sloganeering and unattainable goals, the leaders of these parties created empires for themselves. They created their family rule here, making the future of their young generations secure. So, people need to reject these exploitative politicians by the power of their vote.”

Mir was accompanied by the senior party leaders Muhammad Dilawar Mir, Usman Majid, and Javaid Mustafa Mir besides Junaid Azim Mattu, Noor Muhammad Sheikh, Raja Manzoor, Yawar Mir, Imaad Rafi Mir, and Khalid Rathore.
